The Inola, Oklahoma smelter, a joint project with our partner EGA, will be our newest and largest U.S. facility. It is the first U.S. aluminum smelter built in nearly 50 years. The facility will be developed using EGA’s world class expertise in smelter design and aluminum production technology, while drawing on decades of operational experience across our Century team.

The Inola smelter will create more than 4,000 jobs during construction and 1,000 permanent jobs.
It is expected to spur long term regional economic growth, representing a significant infrastructure investment and revitalization of American manufacturing by reshoring the production of a critical metal. The smelter will more than double US production capacity, and create a critical metal hub in the heartland, drawing investments in downstream and adjacent industries as well as creating thousands of indirect jobs.
